Zen Alarm Clocks - The New Rage!

My ancient screaming two bell clanger alarm clock sounded something like someone really ringing the cripes out of an old school bell.

Now I deplore mornings, and by no stretch of the imagination do I look or feel any good first thing in the morning. But hey was I thrilled when some bright and loving ideas person came up with the concept of a Zen Alarm Clock.

I mean I was going into the office each morning looking like I just had the 'shakin shinnola's scared out of me. Even my hair was on edge.

Zen..Zen..Zen, no matter how you say it, it constantly sounds peaceful. Therein of course lay the other predicament here's the thing, when I first got my Zen Alarm Clock I was later than usual everyday for about a week, reason was my subconscious took its time accepting the variation, and in the beginning all my Zen Alarm Clock did was pacify and comfort me into a deeper sleep.

Second day out though I purchased one for my Manager so that he would experience the same things as me, also it was some small insurance that he would believe my explanation and not think I had completely lost my glue, by offering up a brand new, though weak and outlandish excuse.

Now, from what I have been able to find out, the notion behind the design of these clocks is beauty and, that it comes naturally from nature. As humans it is our nature to respond to beautiful things. So where does this beauty fit with a Zen Alarm Clock? Well it is in the chimes, mmmmm! Heavenly!

Now clocks are what effectively ensure that our lives are regimented. Time for this, time for that, time to go here, time to go there etc. So as far as a clock that is expressly for the purpose of waking one up is concerned, surely it should have a serene and gentle nature, as it were.

Of course, gentle is completely lost on some people. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but surely we all choose to be woken gently rather than being scared or startled into it. So try a Zen Alarm Clock for yourself someday - and awaken serenely for a change!!
