Me, My Girlfriend, The Cat, The Dog and The Memory Foam Mattress Topper!

Ever since we holidayed in a lodge where there was a mattress topper on our bed, my girlfriend of 5 years has become worryingly obsessed with it.  It was the first occasion she had ever slept on a memory foam mattress topper, and since then has turned it into the main subject matter of conversation, if not the glue that  now seems to be keeping our relationship together.

In actuality these days, even when we are socializing, she manages to make our mattress topper the subject of passionate  discussion and deliberation. Our friends are saying we are kind of snobs about beds. But, look I gotta  say it, we are both completely sold on having a first-rate quality memory foam mattress topper on our bed.  We sleep better, our cat and dog sleep better, we wake better and lying in has become a true luxury event.

We like beds that are soft and comfortable and yet don't sag in the middle. You know, it is easy to find a nice firm mattress that doesn't sag, or a  nice soft one that does, but memory foam mattresses toppers, at least the high quality ones, manage to bring together both of these qualities  very well.

In some ways, I fancy the full monty, that is, the complete memory foam mattress, but I must say, the mattress topper is proving to be every bit a winner as  well. They are wonderful to lie on and relax. I am sure that it will turn out to be a fight if we decide to buy a new bed, since I know I will be pushing for  a memory foam bed rather than just  a new mattress.  But I have developed a very diverse taste in what I sleep on since she convinced me to  invest in the mattress topper.

There is nothing more pleasing to some of us than a peaceful night's sleep. The best mattress topper can make the difference between a fidgety  evening and a comfy dream-evoking getaway. There are many unique styles in mattress toppers so you need to do your homework before you  purchase one.

Excuse the pun, but 'this kind of acquisition shouldn't be made lying down'. Not every mattress topper is created equal and an item that is well  made with quality materials is what you need to find.

You will know at once if it is a top notch brand or not, once you lie on it. There is no better way to find your
ideal mattress topper than trying it  out for yourself. However, in saying that,  there is also no better way to shop than online. So how can you be sure that you are getting the right  mattress topper for your money?

You could read online reviews to find what others think about them. These testimonials can be tremendously valuable for the reason that the customers who provide  them do not have any stock in the products they write about. Some people may require a specialty mattress topper for their bedroom set.

Some  beds are custom made and this may require the need for a custom made mattress topper. Most of us generally want to find a memory foam mattress topper that fits our bed and gives some further softness and comfort for our night's  sleep. No matter what, there is certainly a product that is right for you and me and my girlfriend.

Matt Smith is a persistently bad sleeper as was his girlfriend who by the way has since left him for someone who has a 'king size bed with a 'premium brand memory foam mattress topper' on it.

Zen Alarm Clocks - The New Rage!

My ancient screaming two bell clanger alarm clock sounded something like someone really ringing the cripes out of an old school bell.

Now I deplore mornings, and by no stretch of the imagination do I look or feel any good first thing in the morning. But hey was I thrilled when some bright and loving ideas person came up with the concept of a Zen Alarm Clock.

I mean I was going into the office each morning looking like I just had the 'shakin shinnola's scared out of me. Even my hair was on edge.

Zen..Zen..Zen, no matter how you say it, it constantly sounds peaceful. Therein of course lay the other predicament here's the thing, when I first got my Zen Alarm Clock I was later than usual everyday for about a week, reason was my subconscious took its time accepting the variation, and in the beginning all my Zen Alarm Clock did was pacify and comfort me into a deeper sleep.

Second day out though I purchased one for my Manager so that he would experience the same things as me, also it was some small insurance that he would believe my explanation and not think I had completely lost my glue, by offering up a brand new, though weak and outlandish excuse.

Now, from what I have been able to find out, the notion behind the design of these clocks is beauty and, that it comes naturally from nature. As humans it is our nature to respond to beautiful things. So where does this beauty fit with a Zen Alarm Clock? Well it is in the chimes, mmmmm! Heavenly!

Now clocks are what effectively ensure that our lives are regimented. Time for this, time for that, time to go here, time to go there etc. So as far as a clock that is expressly for the purpose of waking one up is concerned, surely it should have a serene and gentle nature, as it were.

Of course, gentle is completely lost on some people. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but surely we all choose to be woken gently rather than being scared or startled into it. So try a Zen Alarm Clock for yourself someday - and awaken serenely for a change!!

Matt Smith is a persistently bad sleeper as are all who ever share a bed or room with him. Matt Smith is also a well-liked article writer and you can get more his musing 'right here' or, see what he has written 'over here'

Go On Spoli Yourself With a Serta Memory Foam Mattress !

Serta - For Memory Foam Mattresses

Well here I was, all dressed up and keen to go mattress shopping.  Now if you have ever, and I have no  doubt that you have, had  to buy a new mattress, did you really go out knowing exactly what it what you  were looking for? You probably did though, have some sketchy idea of your individual needs and some kind  of a budget.

Well, let me tell you, all I did was have a thoroughly miserable day.  At the end of which I was bushed, perplexed and inclined to  hack my old mattress open and stuff it with duck feathers and toilet paper rather than have to replicate another  such day again.

Purchasing a new mattress is meaningful business.  We have to be sure that we have a earnestly planned out our  finances and a list of all the things we require to get from a new mattress.  Things like comfort, and do we want  sprung, or do we want a foam mattress on an ensemble or on boards.  Do we have back or other joint pain  that need to be considered.  Last but not least of course we need to consider if we have a sleeping
partner,  what weight distribution considerations do we need to tell the salesperson about.  I could go  on and on with many other important points that we should have at front of mind when setting about to selecting and  buying a new mattress.

As we get older, our aching muscles and joints have to be considered, and our sleep comfort is going to be  essential.  So, picking a right mattress is terribly essential. Reliability is an additional matter and should be  a major requirement when picking your new mattress. Now after that miserable day I told you about  earlier, I was fortunate to meet someone who had a lot of good to say about memory foam mattresses, in point  they were most happy with their choice, a Serta Memory Foam mattress which they said beat  everything else on the market hands down.

Well off I went and bought myself a Serta Mattress just like theirs.  I am totally in love with my bed.  I sleep  like a baby when I need to. The bed also appears to be maintaining its shape too, against all odds.

Most mattresses ultimately sink around where the heavier parts of  bodies rest, this of course will eventually lead to the mattress becoming uncomfortable and upon rising each morning, aches and pains will begin  making themselves known. A Serta Memory Foam mattress makes

perfect sense as a solution. Some  people experience improved  circulation after sleeping on a Serta Memory Foam mattress.

Serta Memory Foam Mattresses are helping many bad sleepers enrich their nights rest due to the remarkable reinforcement these beds give for the head and back. The Serta Memory Foam Mattress  is a first-class choice for those who are looking for the benefits of both comfort and design. With Serta the thicknesses vary and you are able to add  extra layers when and if necessary.

So get around to your nearest Serta suppliers and spend a very pleasant day lying around on their beds.   Your sleep is important to you strength, so at least look into what Serta have to offer.

Matt Smith himself is an appallingly  bad sleeper, but he does get great quality zzzzzz's on his new Serta.

Remove Nose and Ear Hair Without Bringing Tears To Your Eyes: Nose Hair Clippers

This is a unique piece of grooming equipment, the Nose Hair Clipper, for the guy (perhaps an aging male) who could or may not realise that the hairs growing out of his nose and ears are beginning to make their presence felt by starting to grow larger, 'thicken up' and noticeably protrude enough to develop into 'attention grabbers'.

Now it is about age 30 that a majority of men, and/or those close to them, start to notice an escalation in protruding hairs from their noses and ears. Oh dear!! Sad but true, the older you get - the worse this maddening problem is.

But happily, if you need to, you can relieve yourself of this dilemma. Help guys is only a 'nose hair clipper away'. Shopping for this little appliance can be an experience all its own. If you feel embarrassed or shy about it, send someone else out to get one for you - but 'GET ONE!! - remember this... These days, millions of men use a nose hair trimmer and nothing is more off putting than aggressive or even shy nose and ear hair.

Importantly, there is definitely no need for you, or anyone else, to have to pull out these hairs with a pair of tweezers or scissors. Of course, that is unless you are a 'pain bunny' or looking for trouble. So for all you guys out there who are 'sprouting ear and nasal fluff', and in particular for the first timers..REMEMBER!! A nose hair clipper is for cutting or trimming nose and ear hairs, it is NOT for 'plucking' the hairs out completely. Please leave this to women and their eyebrows.

Personal grooming devices such as nose hair clippers are far safer than using scissors, albeit that there are still some of you out there who think it is 'pure macho' to persist in using them. Unfortunately for some this habit of using scissors has resulted in some pretty ugly self inflicted and not so attractive home 'nose reconstruction jobs'.

So I am going to guess that as you have read this far, you are probably convinced that you need or want to buy yourself a good, safe nose hair clipper. Before you start hunting out in the marketplace for a Nose Hair Trimmer you would be well advised to make certain that you know what the market has to offer. In other words, have yourself a broad knowledge of prices and which are the most well-liked and recommended brands.

Right, now that you are into fighting nose and ear hair, and you are committed to finding a suitable nose hair trimmer for your needs, you should not have too hard a job finding just the right one. There are quite a variety of established brands that have them in a variety of styles.

So so long tweezers and cheerful snipping and trimming...Oh, and LEAVE THE SCISSORS ALONE!!

Memory Foam Slippers - Do You Want Comfort or Looks?

So when we take off shopping for slippers, what is it we are really looking for?  Comfort or style, Leather or  Fluff, Sheepskin or Memory Foam?  Honestly, I would venture a guess that most of us do not hold  anything definite in mind when we venture out into 'shopping mall land' or 'virtual shopping mall land on-line'.   By and large all we know is that our current pair of slippers are starting to look like hell and, that we hate  being caught wearing them.  In fact, they are now so bad that even the dog has given up pursuing them as  'a chewable article of choice'.

Most of us don't want to pay a mint for our slippers, memory foam or not!! Color does develop into an issue  but if the right size cannot be found we still seem happy to settle for some less than attractive color as a back up choice/last resort.

However, having said all that, something we most often seem to seek out for ourselves is a pair of slippers  that will make our weary feet feel pampered and loved while having us feel as if we are walking  in complete mind numbing comfort? This is where memory foam slippers take their bow. Memory foam  slippers are made of the exact same memory foam that their world famous mattress cousins are. Having  owned and slept on a memory foam mattress I can tell you I know precisely how comfortable this material  can be, so can you imagine how having it in your slippers could have you walking on air!

Slippers made with memory foam are just plain more comfortable than anything else.  They give more support simply  because of the material and the ways that it interacts with our body weight and pressure. The moment  'our feet hit the foam' our body heat is absorbed by the foam  and voila!! The foam becomes soft and our  feet just sink deeply down into the foam which instantly contours to the shape of our foot.

As we walk, our memory foam slippers use their fabulous memory to bounce back into their original  position so that as we bring our foot up and then down again our foot is fully supported. So, no longer are  we just looking for 'sensible' footwear, we now want our footwear to 'think' and remember fondly.. Our feet,  their shape and out body weight.

In closing...Memory Foam Slippers tend to keep going and last, so pick a color, design and pair you like, oh and  hide them from the dog, the spring back action could be too hard for Fido to resist.

Sleeping - Make It a Priority

Some will tell you it is your mattress or the type of base that you have selected that will cause you to have fidgety or sleepless nights. The sleep Gurus will tell you it is your 'mental' state, stress or your less than pleasant sleep milieu or other such malady. Like a lot of people, (my spouse included) I too have suffered this infuriating and pesky problem, until recently when someone introduced me to the Memory Foam Matress products. Well I have not looked back since.

This article looks at why it is that now and then we feel tired, jump into bed expecting to have a great nights sleep, but end up rolling and tossing around for hours, if not all night. It also takes a lighhearted and humorous dig at some of the 'well meaning' advice given to the 'sleep deprived souls of the world'.

If tossing and turning sounds like something you do then you really should consider all aspects of what the problem could be. If you have tried everything you can and have run out of ideas or solutions, and you are still having problems - then maybe, like me, you should give a Memory Foam Mattress or Memory Foam Mattress Topper some meaningful consideration.

So, we all have those nights when we just cannot find the comfortable part of the bed and we spend hours trying to find it by tossing and turning till the break of dawn. The age old question we ask is - Why does this happen?

Seems our desire to 'toss and turn', is not a direct result of not being comfortable, the problem is we are not feeling relaxed. Our minds will happily function without any input from our bodies. What this means is, we tell ourselves that we want to relax, but our minds interpret the message as 'our needing to find a comfortable spot on the bed, or a comfortable spot to lie in, on the bed.'

Relaxation Gurus on the other hand tell us true relaxation has to come from within us, and must be set off by our 'inner thought processes', that is, 'our minds'.

If we are lying in bed, Oh, and I personally prefer a memory foam or latex one myself, and we get the urge to toss or turn, the Gurus say 'wait it out', and we will be surprised at how quickly it fades!

They also tell us when we get the urge to toss and turn, we should ask ourselves - 'How can I focus on something else right now and feel more relaxed?' They tell us that, as we lie there for about 15 seconds, we will be amazed at how the urge to toss and turn simply fades, and we realize that all we really want to do is relax. Well - Not this little black duck, the harder I try asking myself questions, the longer I toss and turn.

Ok, so here are another couple of extraordinary suggestions they advise if our urge to move is really intense, or if we are in a very uncomfortable position on our bed:

1) Move very slowly. We should try to remember what it feels like when we wake up in the morning and we are very sleepy - we do not tend to move very quickly, do we ?

2) As we move very slowly, we now need to put a big bright smile on our face, and take a deep breath. Are you kidding me!!

If the reason why tossing and turning keeps us awake is because we do it very quickly, and the more we do it, the more it agitates us, then this I can understand!

But, as to how I am perhaps going to go to sleep just because I now have put a big, bright smile on my face, leaves me a little cold and in serious doubt that these guys know what they are talking about.

Tossing and turning is an often experienced occurrence for most of us. There are nights when no matter what we just keep tossing and turning all through the night. So, what is worrying us? Everything!..My solution get up, watch tv, have a cuppa, wake someone else up 'misery loves company', ring a friend!!!

Or, you could comtemplate taking a look at the age and condition of your bed. Go get yourself a new one. Go try one out, see if that makes a difference. Pop on into a Serta Mattress store and spend some valuable time lying around for a while.

If you invest in a new memory foam bed, mattress, mattress topper or another type or style of bed and you still have problems....Then go for a run, clean the house..Get some physical actvity happening. Wear yourself out somehow, or go see the doctor and get some sleeping tabs.

I read somewhere (advice from another sleep Guru) that it seems, if we are a certain personality type, then we are fated to be a nuisence to ourselves and anyone else in our beds or bedrooms, seems we are stuck with it, and tossing and turning becomes a never ending process for us that we have little hope of stopping.

And, on that happy note I am off to lie on my comfortable, dreamy Serta Memory Foam Mattress to catch a few zzzzz's, while the rest of you doomed 'night owls' out there try and figure out some way of getting some sleep.
